The Innovation Depot meeting venue provided a great space to convene for Meeting-7 of the Alabama Network Operators Group(ALANOG). The facility was filled with network operators/engineers/architects, telco service provides and Internetworking enthusiasts from throughout the Southeastern United States.
The ALANOG family was deeply grateful for Meeting-7’s sponsors. A round of kudos and deeply appreciative thank-yous go out to the teams from Imperium Data Networks and Arista Networks for their having underwritten the culinary service offerings for the event.
As we enter YEAR THREE of our community building activities, this particular ALANOG Meeting offered a first of what our members hope becomes a staple of our future meeting – a heavy level of engagement from talent found within the ranks of our regional colleges and universities. The ALANOG crew would like to offer a serious round of shout-outs to Talladega College and its students and faculty who were most fully engaged during our entire time together. This group of students included majors from computer science, computer information systems, business administration, mathematics and other STEAM related fields. The entire ALANOG family would like to especially thank President Todd, Provost Myles and Dean Richardson of Talladega College for bringing this effort to fruition.
ALANOG-7’s workshop presentations were stellar. Podcasts of the presentations and other related media content can be found below. Great attendees, great presentations and a GREAT ALANOG-7 Meeting. We are all looking forward to seeing everyone at ALANOG-8 in January 2026.
